חוויק היחתה פנסיונרית וממייסדי המושב. בעלה, יגאל סגל ז"ל, היה ראש המועצה האזורית אית"ם. אהוביה התאבלו עליה: "היא הייתה אישה מיוחדת, יצירתית, תוססת, טובת לב".

Havik was a retiree and one of the founders of the moshav. Her husband, the late Yigal Segal, was the head of the regional council of Etam. Her loved-ones mourned her: "she was a special woman. Creative. Vibrant. Kind-hearted."
