חבר ביחידת האבטחה של ניר יצחק. באותו שבת בבוקר נקרא בועז להגן על ניר יצחק בזמן שמשפחתו סגורה במקלט. בועז, חקלאי שעבד את האדמה, היה נשוי לדניאלה ואב לשלושה ילדים. הוא היה דמות אהובה בקהילה, איש עם לב גדול, איש משפחה ותמיד עם חיוך על הפנים. בועז הגיע לקיבוץ במסגרת קבוצת נח"ל לפיתוחו, ומאז חי ועבד בו ארבעים שנה. "בועז, אהוב ויקר, לעד נזכור אותך הולך בשבילים עם הכלב שלך, מחייך ומתבדח עם ילדים, חברים וזקנים. חבריך קראו לך 'כל כך טוב' כי הלב שלך היה טוב וטהור; היית חבר אמיתי והפצת שמחה סביבך."

Boaz, a farmer who worked the land, was married to Daniela and a father to three children. He was a beloved figure in the community, a man with a big heart, a family man, always with a smile on his face. Boaz came to the kibbutz as part of a Nahal group to develop it, and since then, he lived and worked there for about forty years.
